Yum! Who knew? I don't make it over to this corner too often, but met my husband here for a quick lunch close to my office. Food was really good, the lunch menu was vast, food was really good, food arrived quickly, and food was good. Did I say I really liked the food? So, he had the Phad See Ew with tofu and I had the Phad Woo Sen with tofu. Both lunches came with soup and choice of either a salad or a spring roll. The default soup is made with chicken broth, but if you don't dig that, just ask for the vegetarian soup -- very tasty, I must say! The ginger dressing on the salad was scrumptious as was the peanut dressing for the salad. So, you really can't go wrong with either. I'd hit this spot again for lunch in a heartbeat, especially since the food is so good and they're quick to bring orders as they're obviously aware the daytime lunch crowd is typically on a tight schedule.

I love this restaurant!! It's usually empty around dinner time, so no wait, and they have the BEST chicken dumplings. They also have a delicious vegetable soup that is the perfect cure for a cold. I also love their pineapple duck and their Thai iced tea.

The food was fresh and delicious. We ordered subgum wonton and the soup was filled with plenty of wonton, shrimp, chicken, beef and vegetables. We ordered chicken fried rice, another chicken and beef dish and all the food was great. Spring and egg rolls were also very good. Would recommend this restaurant for good Thai food!

Great food! Slow service. As long as you're not in a hurry check it out. We ordered several different dishes and no one had a single complaint (that's pretty amazing for my family!).

Love this place! We had the chicken pad Thai, yellow curry with vegetables and their house salad with ginger dressing twice in one week. Only got 4 stars out of 5 because there was a few bugs floating around the last time we were there. It's Florida so I'm sure it was the open/closing of the door, but still. Go there after early bird hours and there's a ton of open tables!

This is a place we go to about twice a month. The wait staff has been the same for the two years we've been going and they are friendly and even memorize what I like to order, which makes you feel welcome. There are many choices for Thai food in the area but the thing I like about them are that they make my food spicy when I ask for it. Most places are scared to make your food spicy even though you ask them so that is what has kept me coming back. The prices are very reasonable as well. Highly recommended.

Great place. I work nearby and eat here at least twice a week. Incredibly friendly staff that get to know you, your favorite dishes and how you like them prepared. It can get busy on weekdays, especially Fridays. Try the panang curry!

I went here yesterday for the first time and was disappointed. The restaurant is conveniently located right around the corner from where I work and a few miles from where I live. The restaurant was pretty busy which must be the reason why my waiter kept messing up my order. My party was waiting for me and had already ordered by the time I arrived. It took a few minutes to get a menu and when a waiter arrived he asked if i wanted anything to drink. I said red wine, when asked if I wanted Cabernet or Merlot, I chose Cabernet. He brought me Merlot. I ordered chicken with cashew nuts. It came with an option of spring roll or salad. I selected the salad and was brought a spring roll. When the salad was delivered, it was the saddest salad I have ever seen- it consisted of a few pieces of lettuce and a very large tomato slice and very large cucumber with an insane amount of peanut sauce. The peanut dressing was WAY to thick for the salad. I am giving 2 stars because my meal arrived not even two minutes after my friends, which I was surprised and impressed. My meal was very bland and had absolutely no flavor to it whatsoever. If I do go back to this establishment, I will definitely try a new dish. The restaurant was very clean which is another reason I gave 2 stars. One of my friend's gets the Pad Thai all the time from this place- I might try it next time. There has to be better Thai places in Palm Beach County.

I used to go here for lunch quite a bit. The food is fine, the staff is friendly and they know to move fast at lunch. I didn't go here very often for dinner, but that may just be that I don't like the cuisine all that much in general, not that there's anything wrong with the restaurant. Would recommend, especially if you already know that you enjoy Thai food.

Bangkok Thai is beautiful, authentic, inexpensive, and quick. Their food isn't obnoxiously hot, unless you order it that way. No matter what level of spice you order, the dish itself promises to be exquisite. Their curries are smooth, generous with whatever protein you select, as well as plentiful fresh vegetables--Massiman, Panang, and green curry are favorites. Their Pad Thai is incredibly nuanced and soulful. They get a crowd quickly. They are wort the wait, and do their best to serve quickly and efficiently.

Just like Jeff S. Said Tom Kha is great! So was the dumplings and the that tea. The pad see ewe wasn't bad, but not original. Used pad Thai noodles instead of wide flat noodles. I'm a little disappointed, could rated high if summer rolls were offered. Since that's my ratings depends on them. Over all it was very tasty food, dinner portions are not American sizes, the service was very pleasant and the food was delivered in decent time. I will try to return, but won't drive out of the way as I did tonight...

Surprisingly awesome. Loved their Tom Kha and their curry dishes are tip top as well. If you like your food with some heat to it be sure to ask for your order to be made extra spicy since the regular versions are pretty bland. I guess they're catering to the old folks in the area. Bangkok Thai is just as good as any of the Thai food I've had in NY and the prices are phenomenal, especially considering it's right next door to the Polo Club. Definitely a solid spot in Boca Raton.

Bankok has some of the best curry I have ever had. They are spot on with their balance of coconut milk and spices. Their portions are huge. We had a hard time finishing but the flavor was so darn good you couldnt help but take just one more bite. We started off with thai salad with peanut dressing. I have tried many but I would come back just for their peanut dressing alone! We also tried hot and sour and wonton soup. Both were chuck full of flavor and very satisfying. I had red chicken curry and it csme with bamboo shoots, brocolli, zuchinni and carrots. It almost resembles a soup because it has so much curry sauce which I love. They quickly brought extra rice when needed. They also offer brown rice which is nice. My daughter had the panang chicken curry and it was fabulous. I could go for some more right now. They brought out a delicious bannana dessert. It was bannana fried in wonton wrapper then drizzled with honey. I asked for them to go but when my daughter tried one they were gone before we got the check. By the way, there is a 10% discount if you pay in cash. We couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you to all of the Yelpers who reviewed Bankok before me.

Had the vegetable panang curry. Very tasty. A bit spicy, but the peanut sauce from the satay appetizer helped cool me down. Will be back. Not that many people were in the restaurant, but don't let that fool you- excellent food. PS I was catching up with an old friend and it was so nice to have a conversation and not have to struggle to hear each other.

FAST, Affordable, Authentic Thai Food. ...The End just kidding This place consistently delivers at least at lunchtime for us. When you sit down, they immediately come by with a cup of soup that is complimentary with your lunch. It's not much just some veggies, chicken broth and rice, but it sure takes the edge off when you are ravenous. Their lunch specials are primarily priced around $10 and include the soup, a small salad (ginger or peanut dressing), your entree, and iced or hot tea. It's always loaded with business types in here and you can be in and out of here in 40 mins flat. It's perfect for those of us who only have an hour for lunch. With tip and tax your bill will run you around $14 #easybreezy

Fast friendly service. Lunch specials are always a good deal. Hot a fresh and they get you in and out quickly. My particular favorite is the coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai). Highly recommended.

Desperation for Thai that isn't down by the ocean drove me here. Glaciers could melt faster than their nighttime service. The only thing moving quickly is the golden arm of Lucky Cat. The evening is full of lonely single guys doing overtime at Office Depot corporate. There's also a table of the Golden Girls chatting away. Meanwhile on the little speakers some Thai singer kicks off a canned awful version of Someone To Watch Over Me that would make George Gershwin rip up the sheet music and go back to bed. Put Jimmy Wong and Robin Williams in their kitschy decor and it's Hot Thai Time Machine. All of which was written with my 28 minute wait for the take out called in on a promised 15 min. prep time. The food was sadly third rate at best by the time I got home. Won't kill you but there's so many better places in the area if you can drive, which tonight I couldn't so I give them one pity star.
Very enjoyable meal - quality food at fair prices. We shared two entrees (sizzling steak and Bangkok seafood) that came with soup salad and dessert. We had some hot sake too.

Had lunch here with a group from work. I ordered what I always order when I have Thai food. Pad See Ew. Theirs was ok. It wasn't amazing, but it wasn't horrible. The staff works really fast - the soup came out almost immediately, then the salad/spring rolls. It's a good option for a quick lunch
This was my first time at Bangkok. Service was very good, it was 8 pm on a Saturday and the restaurant was empty & we were immediately seated. We started with the spring rolls, fried chicken dumplings, & wonton soup. The food was very good everything was light, clean, and tasted great (there didnt seem to be much sodium in the food!!). We ordered the bangkok 3 gem and 3 buddies for our entrees and again everything was extremely tasty and prepared perfectly. I like my meals to be served at out of the oven or pan temperatures and I do wish they served their food slightly hotter. overall it was a great experience and we are definitely going back again!!

Had the Frog Legs for dinner here years ago when dating my future wife. We enjoyed the food and ambiance, though it wasn't anything too special. Service was attentive and timely. I look forward to going back soon to see if the place still has the magic that helped our romance. ~ Kort

Went on a whim and boy were we surprised! Wonderful Thai decor throughout and attentive service. Started with the steamed dumplings, which had a sweet and savory sauce, and were cooked perfectly. For main entrees, we split the Massaman curry and Pad Thai. The curry was extremely tasty, with lots of sauce to spread around. Sweet potatoes were used in lieu of regular baked potatoes; definitely preferred. It was ordered as a 1 (least spicy), yet it did have some kick, so keep that in mind when gauging spice. The Pad Thai, my predictor of a Thai restaurant, was just as I hoped. Think of a properly prepared Pad Thai and there it is. Not much else to say when it is simply done right. Portions were middling to large and prices were appropriate to quality and size. Next time I am in the area, I'll definitely be back.

Take yelp reviews for Asian restaurants here in WPB with a grain of salt. People in LA, SF, NYC and Chicago enjoy many option for Asian food. Unfortunately here in south Florida it's not the case. The food here is okay. Nothing special. Authentic? No. Going back.. No Still searching!

I really like this restaurant. They are very fast and efficient. The food is also very tasty. I sometimes come here to meet me my sister on her lunch hour. When you sit down they immediately bring soup and salad. They do have a vegetarian friendly soup if you ask for it. I usually order fried tofu and mixed vegetables. They have a good sized menu to select from that has anything from pad thai to rice dishes.

Can only attest to eating here for lunch specials. I like it SPICY. First time I had to ask them for extra heat. Waitress looked at me like I was an alien but I ate my entire (spiced up more) dish. Next time she remembered me and said "You like it FIVE STAR hot". Panang curry is really good. Ask for it a little thicker. Brown rice is an option. Pad Thai is nice, not out of this world good but better than most. Masaman curry is also delish. Next time I'm trying something different. Fun place to eat -- much better than Subway/Panera Bread/Blech food.

After enjoying a beautiful stroll through the Morikami Museum and Gardens, the gang and I stopped by here for an early dinner. This placed opened up at 4:30p on a Sunday and we were craving Asian Cuisine so it seemed like a good choice. We were the first ones there so we were seated immediately. I had the pork sauteed dish served with baby corn, carrot, onion, celery, scallion, bell pepper and fresh ginger in ginger sauce. It also came with a bowl of rice on the side. Overall, the dish was good. Wish the pork would have had more flavor on it's own though. However, the veggies and the sauce were delicious and I enjoyed dipping some of the rice in the sauce as well. The servers were also nice and attentive and they always made sure to refill our cups with water or tea (depending on what we were drinking). This restaurant is way out of my neighborhood so I more than likely won't be coming around here again, but it was a good experience with good food and I'd recommend it for anyone walking through this plaza.

Been here several times with my friends and it has become one of our local go to restaurants for thai. I've had the yellow curry with chicken and it was delicious. Good portions and yummy! I also have had the duck which was a good portion and crispy. Just the way I like it. Good atmosphere and attentive staff. Definitely would come back and recommend it to friends

I'm a big fan of this place and frequent it at least once every couple of weeks. The green curry is excellent- if you like it spicy, they don't disappoint. The "native" 5-star is pretty brutal and I have a high tolerance, so I don't recommend over a 4-star. The pad-see-ew is also very good if you like something like pad thai but without the peanut. It's some type of a sweet-chili/soy sauce and also delicious. Lunch is a great deal because it comes with salad or a spring roll, soup, tea and the portion sizes are great. Even dinner has been great here and the staff has all been there a long time. If you like real Thai, this is the place to go!

Love this place! Love the ladies who work here too. So fast and efficient and whoever is in the kitchen knows what they are doing. I never understand why this place is empty at dinner but usually packed with a lunch crowd. I've had most items on the menu and I can honestly say I have no complaints.

Dinner special between 4:30-6:30 ... Order 1 entree and get 3 extras: choice of 3 soups, salad or dumplings and ice cream for $1.99. My party of 3 consisting of 2 children and one adult ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Crispy Duck, both as the dinner special. We received 2 cups of chicken wonton soup which was homemade and light. No fake yellow powder used in the broth. We ordered one salad and one order of the veggie dumplings to go with the special: a nice sized side salad with peanut dressing was delicious. The 2 fried vegetable dumplings were very crispy and tasty. When our entrees arrived, our server made sure that we had serving utensils and clean dinner plates as 3 people were sharing 2 entrees. The Chicken Pad Thai was possibly one of the most delicious versions that I've ever tasted. The noodles and very tender chicken were very well coated with a luscious, tangy, slightly sweet pad thai sauce. The Crispy Duck was just that - very crispy skin and succulent duck atop a bed of al dente mixed vegetables in a light brown sauce. Although the portions were plentiful, not one bite was left over. We were offered chocolate or vanilla ice cream, as well as a choice of fried banana as the dessert option with the dinner special. We all ordered the fried banana and I offered to pay for a third portion. Upon arrival of the dessert, the server informed me that the manager was not going to charge for the additional fried bananas and that they hoped we had a happy holiday. I thought that was very nice of them to do. The fried bananas were delicious and different. Very thin wonton squares were filled with one slice of banana and folded on the diagonal to form a triangle which was then fried. Each portion had 3 fried bananas and was drizzled with honey. I would definitely come back.

Pretty good food. Went there because the first place we choose was closed. I have a bunch of allergies and they were very nice to make a special plate for me. The panang and red curry here is excellent, and the service is usually quick. Overall, the food here is very good. and I like their peanut dressing on the house salad. Also, the vegetable tofu soup is recommended for something simple but tasty.

I become Daniel Plainview (There Will Be Blood) when eating at Bangkok Thai because I just want to drink the Panang curry like a milkshake. I want to put a straw on my plate and just drink it up. It's hard to mess up Thai food, but when it's good, boy is it good. Bangkok has been around for as long as I care to remember. It's located in The Polo Shops, which means it has to maintain a certain level of standards being they are subjected to some of the worst, pushiest, self-entitled Boca residents you'll find. That's good news for us because great food and great service is what to expect each and every time. Their lunch specials are ideal. All for less than $10 you get soup, salad or spring roll, an entree of your choice and a drink. Let's talk about their panang curry (chicken or shrimp are the best) because for all I know, that's the only dish they have there. It's all I eat and all I'll ever order. Why mess up a good thing? It's that good and the sauce should be served with whipped cream and a cherry on top.

I moved away from Florida a long time ago for the frigid urban environment of Philadelphia. When people ask me "So what do you miss about Florida?," my answer is "The Thai food down there is fantastic." Now I do miss the nice weather and lenient laws regarding alcohol(in comparison to PA), but the Thai food in Florida is damn good. I have a theory regarding this phenomenon and I base it on no facts whatsoever. Here it is - Because of a large aging population, Floridian Thai restaurants have to alter their recipes in order to compensate for the degraded senses of their retired consumers. They do this by amping up their flavors to the highest extend possible. Bangkok Thai Cuisine is a quintessential example of this. Let's cut the crap - This review is about shrimp Panang curry. Sure, I tried the chicken satay(OK), beef noodle soup(not amazing), and duck red curry(good)...but nothing compared to the shrimp Panang curry at this establishment. It is everything that the dish should be - a wild smashing of vegetables, peanut-ness, coconut milk, lemongrass, shrimp, basil, chili pepper, flavor, flavor, damn. Ask for a little bit of extra chili pepper and sprinkle it on. You will not be sorry. The ambiance is meh and the service may be a little spotty, but all of these things can be forgiven in the face of this Panang curry, which easily holds its own against any other Panang curry that I've consumed anywhere. Did I mention that I like the Panang curry at this restaurant and I think you should try it? On the action-movie-parallel-satisfaction-scale, the Panang curry here is Die Hard.

Love Thai food? Don't want to drive too far? This place is perfect. Everything we've had there has been amazing, and even on a slow night, when other restaurants are notorious for serving you warmed up leftovers, this place made it fresh, and the service was fantastic.
Best Thai lunch I've had in a long time. Massaman curry was a piping hot bowl, jam packed with fresh and crisp veggies, chicken, cashews, etc and a very flavorful, rich Massaman "gravy." The soup and salad were also well made, although the soup was basically just broth. The service was quick and friendly and the prices fair. A definite stop for lunch!

I love the chicken panang curry! The vegetables are really fresh and there's a good ratio of meat to veggies. I'd like to be able to claim that I've tried other things on the menu, but I really like the panang...so I'm going to be faithful to it for a while.

Finally a decent Chicken Panang Curry (4 star spicy is a safe bet) in Boca! Service was friendly and the lunch menu was very reasonable and filling! The menu was interesting and the food was very tasty. A soup, salad or Spring Roll and the main dish for uner $ 10! Such a deal as the locals would say! :-) Would definitely be back for dinner with the family.

Stopped for a quick lunch and my experience with this place has not gone too well. The worst pad thai i ever ate. Completely unflavourful. Ordered 3/5 on spice level and the final product tasted like noodles mixed in red chilli paste. The spring roll was decent but nothing apart from that would bring me back to this place. finally, leave a handsome TIP even if you are not satisfied with the whole experience, else you will find the staff chasing you down the street. Not a pretty sight at all.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

It was during the week at lunchtime, and I wanted to try out a new restaurant. I ventured off to eat near the office. I decided to check out this restaurant since I love Thai food. I walk in and the place was packed, but they were able to seat me right away. After a few minutes, a waitress greeted me and asked for my drink order. As she walked away, another waiter came by and placed a soup on the table. He walked away so fast that I did not get a chance to ask what was in it. Since I did not know whether it was an animal-based broth, I left it untouched. The waitress then asked what kind of dressing that I wanted with my salad. I opted for the peanut dressing. The salad comes out, where it looked like they threw it together real quick and just flung on the dressing. There was not much effort here. My experience did not start out very exciting. However, the entrée made up for the entire lunch. I ordered the tofu pad thai. It was INCREDIBLE! The dish was loaded with flavor, tofu was cooked perfectly and there was plenty to eat. I figured with a place that packed there had to be more than that awkward beginning moment. I will absolutely come back here for lunch. As for vegetarian and vegans, they have plenty of options to choose. They have a dedicated section for meat-free items.

Very enjoyable meal - quality food at fair prices. We shared two entrees (sizzling steak and Bangkok seafood) that came with soup salad and dessert. We had some hot sake too.

If you know Thai food, you have to check out this place! The best Thai in town. The quality of food and service are consistently good.

First time here. We were seated promptly. Everyone seemed very nice. Ordered the tom yum soup and 2 curry dishes. Cooked perfectly with great balance of flavors Reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I have been here a few times. The last time was very disappointing in terms of service. They display a special for apps at the door. We ordered the apps that are special price (when paired with entrée). Got the bill and was charged for reg price apps. Waitress said b/c she bought us the regular size (as opposed to the tiny advertised size), we were charged reg price. She would not change it. She was a big dummy. We were pissed and simply took it from her tip. We won't be back. Perfect example of a bait & switch.

(4)Kort K.

(2)Melody M.
(5)Suzanne G.

Yesterday night we had a lovely dinner at this place. The food is amazing. I never had such a delicious thai food. We like spicy food and they would make it for you. I would definitely visit again and would recommend a friend too!
(5)Ryan P.
Tried this because of previous positive Yelp reviews. We were not disappointed. Friendly staff. Great food. The green curry is excellent. Perfect level of spiciness. Cashew beef was very good. We'll be back.

Excellent curry and pad Thai! You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this cute little restaurant for take out or a casual dinner.
(5)Ariel C.
(5)K P.

I never give 5 stars but I can't say anything negative about this place! Great food and great service! Glad I went will return if I am ever in the area again.

Great food and service. The Pad Thai and Green Curry were wonderful. The restaurant also has a very nice atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back!!
(5)Jeff K.
Pretty good food. Went there because the first place we choose was closed. I have a bunch of allergies and they were very nice to make a special plate for me. The taste was okay and if I lived in the area I would go back and try other things. Overall they were friendly, vegan friendly and had quick, good service. I'd recommend for a pretty good Thai food
(4)Alex O.

Great for a fast lunch, fresh ingredients, soup and spring rolls included with meals. Inexpensive.
(4)Andrea D.
Not authentic Thai... was very disappointed. Take out order... apparently the menu listed on Yelp is NOT their menu. Had to re-plan my order accordingly. They do not have a menu online to order from. My husband picked up and they were confused on how to take payment?

Excellent food. I tried Banghok fried rice and i enjoyed every bit. It serves with soup and spring roll or salad sides as extra.......
(5)Ana B.
Absolutely love the Tom kha soup with shrimp and the pad Thai. They are delicious! It's guaranteed delicious dish.
(5)Sireesha R.
Love Thai food? Don't want to drive too far? This place is perfect. Everything we've had there has been amazing, and even on a slow night, when other restaurants are notorious for serving you warmed up leftovers, this place made it fresh, and the service was fantastic.

I've been going to Bangkok Thai for several years now as it's close to work and home. If you ask for it, they will make your food spicy. I can't handle anything over 2 stars but if you like spicy food, they will make it to your desire or you can ask for pepper flakes on the side. Food portion is great, lunch specials include soup, salad(or spring roll), entrée and a drink(iced tea only). The staff is very friendly and the food is great! Tips: There are many companies in the area so if you plan to got for lunch try to get there 10-15 minutes before noon, else you may have to wait for a seat. This place does get busy for lunch so plan ahead. The parking lot can also get busy since there is a Publix and several other restaurants in the plaza, so be prepared for a busy lot at times. Try the Ginger Chicken, my fav!
(5)Alex G.
(5)Beth G.
I love the chicken panang curry! The vegetables are really fresh and there's a good ratio of meat to veggies. I'd like to be able to claim that I've tried other things on the menu, but I really like the panang...so I'm going to be faithful to it for a while.
(4)Rose V.
I love the pad Thai and peanut dressing. I order here all the time. The prices are reasonable and good quick service.
(5)Burj S.
(4)Eric I.
Good neighborhood Thai food. Everything is reasonably good. Service was good. Pad Thai was excellent. Red curry and sweet & sour chicken were good. Tom Kha soup was average at best.
(4)Deepak V.

I am just leaving this restaurant and I will never return !!! The service was terrible and they could not be anymore rude to their customers.
